I grew up in a Navy family.

I was 20 years old at Pearl Harbor. I was in the Navy about a year and four months before the war.

I went in the Marines when I was 16. I spent four and a half years in the Marines and then came right to New York to be an actor. And then seven years later, I got my first job.

I started the site when I was 19. I didn't know much about business back then.

I became a general contractor in my early 20s. I have been in the business for over 35 years.

As the years passed, and I was nine, 10, 11 years old, it became obvious I was going to start up a business of some sort.

I'd started working when I was 21 and had been very determined about my career, very focused, even as a little kid, so it was something I had been working at for a long time.

When I was 17, I was told I had the choice of enlisting in the Navy or going to jail, so I spent the next three years in the Navy.
