I love tearing things out of the ground. I love digging and discarding. I love pruning. In fact, I love pruning so much that I once gave myself carpal-tunnel syndrome because I attacked a trumpet vine with so much dedication.

Well, I like to be kept on my toes. I look for a challenge. I don't like to recreate steps that I've already walked. I like to see if I can create something new.

In my art, I deconstruct and then I reconstruct, so visual perception is one of my primary interests.

I love the creative process and being able to build something out of nothing.

I like the body. I like to design everything to do with the body.

I bury things in the back of my mind I don't really want to deal with.

I like to use my hands and make things... It might seem pretty stupid or pointless but that doesn't matter... some of the most interesting work is the stuff that starts like that - out of a raw need for activity.
