Well, the first quality of being a good leader is you have to be able to follow. See, a good leader can't just be the leader all the time, I have to be able to follow.

Though there are lessons that can be learned about becoming a great leader, most exist inherently in the bellies of those who lead.

A good leader must be fair.

A leader must be a good listener. He must be willing to take counsel. He must show a genuine concern and love for those under his stewardship.

If you want to be a great leader, remember to treat all people with respect at all times. For one, because you never know when you'll need their help. And two, because it's a sign you respect people, which all great leaders do.

To be a great leader, you firstly have to like people. If you don't like people, at the end of the day they will figure this out and you can't lead them too well.

Leadership is hard to define and good leadership even harder. But if you can get people to follow you to the ends of the earth, you are a great leader.
