It's a bloody shame that all the video stores have gone, I'll tell you. Everything's so mechanical now. It's all so if-you-liked-this-then-you'll-like-this. There's no picking something out, or finding some brilliant person to open up new worlds for you.

I want people to get a better sense of who I am, whether they've seen every video or zero videos.

I don't want to commit to too many films, as it would result in getting out of touch with what is happening in the industry.

I never would've tried YouTube if I hadn't had so many doors slammed in my face.

I don't go to enough movies.

I think the more web video there is, the more press you'll get, as well as all the people who want to tell stories that haven't been told before but can't do that on TV because different stories are a risk.

So, there's only so much you can do with a rock video.
