I enjoy adapting my own work, or anybody's work. I like to adapt books.

I'm a voracious reader. I want information, all kinds - Internet, books, magazines.

I'd love to do a whole series of stories and have them collected into books.

You'll notice that my books offer great variety. Some are for adults, some for children and some for teens. There are mysteries, historical novels, picture books, love stories and stories of crisis and courage.

Listen, I wrote 10 unsuccessful books before I broke through, so I'm looking all the time to keep my books fascinating. I want to write what people want to read, not push any message.

I have a lot of books I want to write.

I want to write more books, see my first novel made into a film, fight more campaigns, work in more countries. I want to be able to recall experiences that have endured for their pleasure and range and intensity.

I want to write books that can truly become a legacy and bring benefits to people.

I'm hoping to get started on a new novel.

Since I spend such a long time making each book, I only choose books that I'm really interested in and that I really love.
