They say it all started out with a big bang. But, what I wonder is, was it a big bang or did it just seem big because there wasn't anything else drown it out at the time?

'Big Bang' is unbelievable; I'm blessed, but it's not the only thing in my life.

It seemed to me that NASA, especially Goddard, was the place where I could carry out the dreams that I had, which were to push forward an experiment that would measure the big bang radiation better than anyone had ever tried before. Therefore, it seemed like the perfect place to go.

We gazed dreamily at the Milky Way and once in a while caught some shooting stars. Times like those gave me the opportunity to wonder and ask all those very basic questions. That sense of awe for the heavens started there.

And then when I went to Chicago, that's when I had these outer space experiences and went to the other planets.

When I came to El Bulli, right away I knew I was becoming part of something incredible. It was like watching the Big Bang happening right in front of me.

Something pretty mysterious had to give rise to the origin of the universe.

We were very fortunate to have been on the scene when we were.

They were fun days, and we set the town on fire with every movie we did.
