I like to call everyone that I find slightly annoying a 'sociopath.'
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
A sociopath is not just someone who doesn't care about human emotion. They're someone who understands people to the point that they can manipulate them to an extraordinary degree.
All of us have a bit of a sociopath inside of us, and it's wrong to think that somebody is just clearly sociopathic, because they're not. It's interesting to explore the shadings and nuances within a person. Those feelings exist within more human beings than people may want to acknowledge.
I don't mind being called snobbish, a pain and a social climber, but being called unkind really hurts.
I guess the verdict is in - I am not a sociopath. It's not effective or productive not to be nice. It would undermine the goals I want to achieve on any given day.
A sociopath doesn't warm up their environment, doesn't make it cozy. They don't have to; when they're not performing, when they're not manipulating, when they're all alone, there's nothing.
People have this preconceived notion of me. I'm 'Gob' to them: this thoughtless sociopath who lives this bizarre, ego-driven life. That would be insanity.
I've never been a fan of sociopaths who have no conscience. That scares me because they're capable of anything.
Sociopaths don't have feelings; they can't.
I tend to be the type who is overly polite and sort of ingratiating to other people.
I don't have sociopathic tendencies!
