We sing inspirational songs, songs of praise and worship, and about how good and how big God is. We are magnifying the Lord.

Every year we celebrate the holy season of Advent, O God. Every year we pray those beautiful prayers of longing and waiting, and sing those lovely songs of hope and promise.

To gather with God's people in united adoration of the Father is as necessary to the Christian life as prayer.

We are all in Christ's energy. We are all in the divine plan. We are all on the sacred journey, if you want to put it into some very spiritual words. And I like to sing about it, so that's what I do.

And help us, this and every day, to live more nearly as we pray.

When we have spiritual reading at meals, when we have the rosary at night, when we have study groups, forums, when we go out to distribute literature at meetings, or sell it on the street corners, Christ is there with us.

We sing a little song before we eat, a little blessing before we eat, and it's really - we're thanking the Lord and the Earth for the food that we eat, and it really brings you together in a profound kind of way.

We need worship for our spirit, fellowship for our soul and committed subservience for our body.

At the centre of Christianity is community; we are gathered by the Lord around the altar.

We need to pray for our brethren around the world.
