If I'm going to create 1,000 jobs, or 10,000 jobs, or whatever the number is, wouldn't we all be better off?
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
If everybody who was in the Forbes 400 said they were going to create 10,000 jobs, by my mathematics, that would be 4 million jobs.
I've created tens of thousands of jobs over the years.
When you've got 10,000 people trying to do the same thing, why would you want to be number 10,001?
For too many, to work means having less income.
If there's a regulation that's saving 10,000 lives and costing one job, it's worth it.
You're not going to get every part, so you can't base your sense of self-worth around whether or not you actually land the job.
If a job's worth doing, it's too hard.
At times I ask myself if I shouldn't be living a more regular, stable life with a 9-to-5 job. Then I think about it and realise that there is no point in planning everything.
I made 22 million in 14 years... with taxes, and travel and everything else, it gets blown out the window... which is why I still need to work.
Even if I earn millions, I will probably do the average things, like live in a dorm and work at McDonald's.
