The fact I have an education forms my lyrical style, I'm sure. I studied the social sciences, history, stuff like that. I have an interest in politics, which maybe works its way into the songs in small, subtle ways.

I not only wanted to showcase lyrical skills but also continue to drop knowledge on the hiphop community. I'm looking to elevate through my music, and through my music I educate.

Throughout the years I have tried to hone my skills to gain mastery over the music in my head.

So much of my career has been about saying things the way people say them, using melodies not that I can sing but that the people can sing.

I just love music - by no stretch of the imagination am I professionally competent.

I don't know if it's my music, my lyrics, my sound, and knowing the music business the way I do-all I can say is, my career has lasted way longer than I expected.
