Life is short. I'm 47 years old. I've got 10 years to go where I can be the best I can be. I want those 10 years to be precious, not like before, cranking two or three movies a year. I've made a ton of movies in my life, but so what?

As long as you keep your budgets small, there's a way of making films.

I make movies I want to see.

But the way that we've got it organized in our family, we try not to work at the same time, so I'm just now starting to look around. I think I'd like to do a film.

I just want to go on making movies, and some of them will be completely meaningless, except, of course, to me.
