I don't care about my character here on earth. I don't care about what other people think or say about me, all I care about is my standing before the Lord.

What really matters is that you do what you think is right, what you believe in, and you surround yourself with the people you care about in this world. That's what counts in this life.

I care about the people I know and love the most, but I also care about what the people I don't know think in the sense that I want them to think and understand me in a certain way. I don't base my life around either one, and I don't change the way I live to please either set of people, but I do care.

The people that matter to me the most are the people that are in my life. That's who I really learn from, and it's always a very personal kind of connection.

What we really are matters more than what other people think of us.

With me, personal relationships are like my religion. I care that deeply about them. I am the complete opposite of a manipulative smoothie.

I believe it matters how you treat people. I believe in Heaven. I don't believe that this is it, and then we're done. I have a lovely relationship with God, although when I've lost someone or I've seen a sick child, I've had conversations with Him in which I've had to ask, 'How can that be right?'

I don't know if I've ever cared much what others think.
