My whole thing is just to put out positive messages in the music, give people something that can change their lives.

When you have a song on the radio your career and your life changes maybe for the better and maybe for the not so good... depending on how it's going that day.

It's part of the calling to at least do a few songs in the show that give people some hope. There's so much hurt in this world and... music is such a great healing balm and a great way to forget your troubles.

Nothing is more rewarding than to take a song, create it out of thin air and then watch it affect people.

It's not just songs and glamour. It's sweat, blood, broken toes, and mistakes... It's life.

That's a big gift when people say to you that a song helped them or brought them to some place in their life where they needed to be.

A song can take you to a special time in your life.

What I've learned is that music affects the way you feel. A song can change someone's life.
