I'm sure our brains are working unconsciously. When you have a creative thought, it's parts of the brain talking to each other without your awareness.

As a creative person you just get an idea in your head, and sometimes you just can't shake it off.

Creativity runs on automatic, no matter what's happening in other parts of my life. I can't help myself. It's been in me, and it evolves in me over the years. It's a condition in me.

Most artists have experienced the creative block. We get stuck in our work. We beat our head against the wall: nothing. Sometimes, it is because we are trying something at the wrong time.

What you discover when you look at creativity from the perspective of the brain is that it is universal. We're all creative all of the time, we can't help but be creative.

The creative part of your brain needs to be stimulated. Sometimes you get blocked in the thing you do, because there's so much pressure to do it.

Sometimes you have to stop thinking. Sometimes you shut down completely. I think that's true in any creative field.

And unless you have that sense of being creative, people think you're just working all the time.

When you have a creative mind it doesn't stop going.

I'd like to think you don't stop being creative once you get happy.
