Literature at its fullest takes human nature as its theme. That's the kind of writing that interests me.

I've always been interested in writing from the perspective of an outsider.

My primary interest has always been about exploring the human psyche and humanity.

Literature can allow us to experience the best side of humankind, where instead of giving up, we struggle desperately in the ruins for love, connection and hope.

All stories interest me, and some haunt me until I end up writing them. Certain themes keep coming up: justice, loyalty, violence, death, political and social issues, freedom.

I really have reached a point where I can write a book about all of this.

All my work is always that exploration of human nature.

Stories hold conflict and contrast, highs and lows, life and death, and the human struggle and all kinds of things.

I write about the trials and triumphs of contemporary life - and often the readers see themselves between the lines of the story.

In writing, I search for believability, simplicity and emotional impact.
