You know, when I first started making online videos, there were a lot of filmmakers I befriended who were doing it too.

You do something on television, and so many people see it that it follows you around. It's interesting. I've done a couple of things on TV, and probably more people saw me than in all the movies I've made.

When you aren't doing too many films, people find other things to write about you.

I don't read anything about my movies before or after I do films, or any part of show business. I think that keeps me in a kind of place where I can do the work that I need to do.

I started making my own short films as a way of being able to give myself something to do and to study my craft.

I'm certainly not who people think I am. I always do whatever I want to do, and my films are personal to me.

My whole career, only one person has stepped up to back me. All these people say they like your films. They say this and they say that, but no one actually does anything.
