As soon as I got out there I felt a strange relationship with the pitcher's mound. It was as if I'd been born out there. Pitching just felt like the most natural thing in the world. Striking out batters was easy.

I've done literally everything there is to do on a baseball field as a pitcher.

I love to be in the ballpark. I love to just go in and enjoy a great baseball game, a great pitchers' duel.

I'm sitting here with the Mets, and I get to throw out the first pitch. That's one of the coolest things in the world for anybody.

Any pitcher who might throw at me should know I'm not giving up my day job or trying to get anyone else's job. I just can't think of anything cooler than being one of the boys of summer!

For me, it's just going up on the mound and trying to get outs.

Just as I'm fortunate to pitch in the big leagues, I'm also fortunate for the time I get to spend outdoors.
