I wanted to be a race car driver when I was a kid.

So much of my life is spent just focused on driving race cars.

I don't think I ever set my goals that high. As a kid growing up I just wanted an opportunity to race and to be able to make a living doing it. It just came together.

What I wanted to do was build an automobile.

Long before I had money, my passion for cars was there.

But my passion is racing cars. It's what I like to do in my off time.

I just always dreamed of racing cars, but I didn't think I could do it as a living.

I wanted to race cars. I didn't like school, and all I wanted to do was work on cars. But right before I graduated, I got into a really bad car accident, and I spent that summer in the hospital thinking about where I was heading. I decided to take education more seriously and go to a community college.

When I was a kid, I would watch the grands prix. Everyone dreamt of becoming a race driver, while I only started thinking about it when I was 18 or 19. Only at that age did I seriously start thinking about this job. Before then, I would change ideas from one second to the next.

I couldn't find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself.
