The female body is a beautiful thing, and it should be embraced and celebrated.

I'm very pleased to be recognising International Women's Day, a day that celebrates the achievements of women across the world.

Women are such incredible people. We're so multifaceted, we're so interesting, and any opportunity to celebrate that - because there's been many years of not being able to - and expose what it's like to be female and how we can be whoever we want to be, and do whatever we want to do, is great.

I believe in celebrating the female figure and embracing what we've been given, not hiding that.

As we celebrate Women's History Month this March, it's important to remember the key role women have played in promoting a better understanding and relationships between our country and the rest of the world.

The great mass of women throughout history have been confined to the cultural level of animal life in providing the male with sexual outlet and exercising the animal functions of reproduction and care of the young.

You can celebrate the female form in comfort. We left corsets behind in the dark ages, so why bring them back now?
