I was shooting in the low 70s and 60s by the time I was 12. That's the great thing about golf. It doesn't matter how old or young you are. If you're 90 and can shoot a good score, people will want to play with you.

That's the thing: You'll lose your legs, your athleticism, but if you can shoot - definitely from 3 - you can play into your high thirties.

Every day I play golf, that's my goal. To break 70 the other way. To shoot 70 or better.

Please know that being 80 is not a scary thing. When you're 80, your life is much freer.

I was 82 years old before Who's Who thought I was enough of a big shot to do a piece on me.

I'm approaching 70. Unfortunately, from the wrong direction.

And now, I feel at 85, I really feel that I'm just ready to start.

I'm not afraid of turning 80 and I have lots of things to do. I don't have time for dying.
