I think that's the key for a good team, to work together like a family. It's something that I've learned over the years with the experience that I've gotten over 10 seasons.

This year, I feel strong. I'm looking forward to having my best season in the last few years.

I'm not the No. 1 starter. I'm not the guy that's going to carry the staff for four months out of the season, but I can contribute in a lot of ways. And to me I'm very proud of that.

We have a good team, and I think we'll have a good season this year.

I want to make sure I don't interfere with the success of that team next year. I don't see any way I could go to practice like most of 'em do, and not hurt the team. I'd go nuts if I tried doing that.

All I can say is that I'm going to try to coach the way I've coached in the past. And if it ends up not being good enough, then so be it.

I'm really hands-on. My team brings in elements, but, every season, it's kind of a personal struggle to find the balance and to see how far I want to push the elements.

I've been so blessed to play for the greatest coach at a time when our organization has done incredible things. I've played with the best teammates. Playing for Mr. Kraft and what his influence on the team has been.

I'm excited about being here in an organization that I grew up rooting for... I'm excited about being an Atlanta Brave and pitching in Game 1.

This is a tremendous opportunity to be named head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, and it's a role I have been studying for over the course of my playing days.
