In my community, women are as important as males, and they are playing an equal role in the society.

It is important that we women use our position as a platform to influence for good.

Women and men look at their life, and women say, 'What do I need? Do I need more money, or do I need more time?' And women are intelligent enough to say, 'I need more time.' And so, women lead balanced lives; men should be learning from women.

Hopefully I'm a role model for positive change for everyone - not just women. It's very important to find balance between men and women.

Women need to support women.

That's not to say that women's priorities are better than men's. Rather, when women are empowered, when they can speak from the experience of their own lives, they often address different, previously neglected issues. And families and whole communities benefit.

It's mainly a few elite women who benefit greatly from standing with the forces that keep women down.

I hope that through Fast Forward, we can encourage women everywhere to know their power wherever they find themselves; to find their purpose; and to connect with others in order to create a better world - especially for women and girls.

Women can build stability. We can make peace.
