I have always served the public to the best of my ability. Why? Because, like every other man, it is to my interest to do so.

I offer my performance as prayer for someone I've worked with as an actor or someone who has died. The image that comes into my head as I walk to the stage, I offer that performance up for that person.

I have the most utmost respect for the men and women overseas, and I only played a soldier on television. Again, I can only imagine the sacrifices that they make every single day.

My purpose in performing is to communicate the joy I experience in living.

Soldiering is a very important profession, is it not?

I love being able to perform in front of people. I like potentially making a difference in somebody's day or somebody's life.

I just think it's my responsibility as a human being and an entertainer to see the soldiers.

I am a soldier, convinced that I am acting on behalf of soldiers.

I try to do as much as I can for the military.
