I like a pretty relaxed, fun set. Everyone knows they can bring whoever they want and hang out.

Outside of 'Justified,' I do like to keep it to comedy. When I'm not there, I try to seek out stuff that sort of more along the lighter fare. I have more fun on those sets than I do on drama sets just because when it's heavy, it's heavy, and it's hard to get away from it.

I like a set to be a happy place, where people can feel free to experiment.

I really like reaching out and seeing the audience - they're potential audiences! And on occasion I can make them excited about going to the theater again, if they've ceased or gone less.

I tend to gravitate to the darkest or most obscure part of any venue in an effort to have my own space to experience the music on my own, free from unwanted conversations and other distractions.

I usually choose movies that I would want to see. I appreciate drama and if the right script came across my desk, drama you will see.

I started out in clubs, and I've always liked clubs. I like theaters because people are there for the show.

I liked being in a smaller theater. I love doing shows of all sizes, but sometimes it's nice to be in a smaller space and to strip away some of the music so that you can be a little less than larger-than-life; you can be a little more naturalistic.
