I go to make art as who I am as a person. The fact that I am a woman comes into play maybe in the kinds of things I'm interested in or in the way I structure a canvas.

I am interested in the art. I'm a professional woman.

I design to make women feel confident and beautiful.

My purpose as an artist is to heal the divided feminine in our culture. Well, okay wait, that sounds incredibly cheesy and like something a massage therapist might do at Esalen.

I don't design for myself. I design something keeping in mind that it has to please a lot of women.

You can make clothing as art, but I like the idea of my clothes actually being worn and being useful to women.

I design for the working girl.

Art is feminine.

Design is about point of view, and there should be some sort of woman or lifestyle or attitude in one's head as a designer.
