Louisiana wants a leader that will take their values to D.C. and will fight for them without wavering.

I think the federal government really should be supporting Louisiana and ensuring that every person from that area has an opportunity to vote on what will occur in the area.

And the issues I think are important in Louisiana right now happen to be health care and education. And those are two areas that the federal government can play a very important role. And I think I can be effective in trying to help our state from the Washington scene.

We have a circle of corruption and impunity that is too strong.

One way or another, I want to be a positive force for the people of Louisiana and the United States of America in whatever way I can serve.

Louisiana's a very conservative state. When we've ever polled this, we've found that they like conservative reforms. They want us to fight back against our leadership and Democrats, so it's very consistent.

If people want to get into leadership through corrupt practices, through corrupt means, I think that's detestable; we have to take action.

We must weed out corruption and build a strong system of justice that the people can trust.

But eradicating corruption is not enough to sustain a country.

In the Mexico we want, there is no room for corruption, for cover-ups, and least of all for impunity.
