I don't believe there should be any restrictions when it comes to firearms. None.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
There is no way the American public will sit still for the banning of or putting any significant restrictions on the kinds of guns they want.
Very rarely do firearms restrictions affect criminals. They really only affect law-abiding citizens.
I believe that restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners will not prevent a deranged individual or criminal from obtaining and misusing firearms to commit violence.
You can have bans on assault weapons or whatever weapons you wish, and it's not going to protect from a violent person.
My focus is that firearms are handled safely and that we can continue to enjoy them here in North America.
Americans have the right under the Second Amendment to own firearms, and that is not going to change.
Arguments that we will never stop all shootings by restricting access to such weapons fails to account for our strong and common desire at least to stop many of them - or any of them.
I think, for me, anybody who is a terrorist should not have access to firearms.
The most cogent principle that can be drawn from traditional limitations on the right to keep and bear arms is that dangerous persons likely to use firearms for illicit purposes were not understood to be protected by the Second Amendment.
I think you can ban guns if you can just pull the trigger and 60 bullets fire out.
