For me, the bottom line is what's on the page.

What's on the page dictates a lot of what I do. When the words are there, it's easy.
I have always focused on the bottom line.
I just sit down and the page just comes out and I look at it and the elements that appear on that page have a lot to do with what's going on in my life.
And once I know what the first page is, then the rest will come.
The hardest thing about writing, for me, is facing the blank page.
I live for the blank page.
By the time I sit down and face the blank page I am raring to go. I tell it as if I'm talking to my best friend or one of my grandchildren.
But to me, the most important page in my daughter's book is the last one - because it's blank. It says 'Your Hero's Photo Here,' and 'Your Hero's Story Here.'
I'm writing a book. I've got the page numbers done.
I enjoy the freedom of the blank page.
