I can act... I do a little writing as well. And I'm good at typing. I'm a creative typist, actually.

What I write, I write. I'll always do it in some form.

I'm an artist. Artists don't need permission to work. Regardless of whether I'm acting or not, I write. I write when I'm tired in fact, because I believe your most pure thoughts surface.

When I'm acting, that's all I'm doing. When I'm not acting, I'm not thinking about acting. If I'm writing, I'm just writing.

I always was a writer, but then I wanted to do stand-up because I thought that was a way that I could perform what I wrote.

I guess, taking away all the theatrics or the costuming and the outer layers of what I do, I'm a writer... I write.

I hate it, it is tedious... when I write for my act, it is very improvisational, I write bullet points, I cannot sit in front of a computer; that is not my style.

I've been very lucky to have been able to act, write and direct and not have to choose just the one thing.
