I really like to look professional but also have personal flare. You will never find me in head-to-toe designer - I like to mix it up.

As a designer, I think you just have to make sure you know what you want and stay true to it. You need to have conviction and really just want to make people think in regards to doing interesting things.

Although designers continue to dream of 'transparency' - technologies that just do their job without making their presence felt - both creators and audiences actually like technologies with 'personality.'

This is what I like about being a designer: You can't really get it until you see it.

I want to be known for having a recognizable style. I believe having your own personal identity is what makes you competitive. On the other hand, I would like to be versatile and be challenged to go in new directions.

I design things to help people to hopefully express their personality.

Obviously, I'm in a visual business, and people will talk to me about my appearance.
