I don't ever claim to be a hip-hop head.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
In my head I'm a rapper, but I'm not!
Hip-hop is all over the planet.
You can't compete with hip-hop. That doesn't mean I don't want to be as big as a rap star. I do - I'm always competitive. But there's this weird perception of me as someone who's sitting around plotting like a devil. It's not like that.
I am hip-hop!
For us to keep claiming this isn't Hip Hop and that isn't Hip Hop doesn't make sense to me.
Hip-hop is so much about character and caricature that people just see you as a character. Very rarely are you flesh and bone to people.
I'm obviously not a rapper, and I don't have any claims to be one, really.
Hip-hop is such a disposable art form from a business standpoint. It never treats its artists as art; it never treats its product as art.
I love hip-hop and you can't tell me I'm not a hip-hop artist.
I'm a huge hip-hop fan from way back in the day.
