When I want to really eat great, I eat at home when my wife cooks.

When I first started to cook, I would cook these elaborate meals, but I rarely cook at home now.

Cooking at home is easier than cooking in the restaurant because you don't have to write a menu or try to please everybody.

Let me start with a confession: I don't enjoy cooking. The reason I usually do it at home is not because I'm a New Man or Jamie Oliver disciple, but because my wife's cooking is so bad. In fact, to me, cooking is less a pleasurable pastime than a defense against poisoning.

My wife and I like to cook, so we actually prepare our own meals often and can hold our own in the kitchen.

The thing about being at home versus being out in the world working is, it's a whole different vibe. When I'm home with my kids and partner, I will cook - even though she's a very good cook. She's learned over the years. We started with basics, you know, how to saute onions, how to saute mushrooms.

I still cook at home. A lot of chefs I think don't cook at home. But I still do, I love cooking at home, I love having friends.

My family and I cook at home almost every day together. The kitchen is the central and most important room in the house; it's a great way for us to connect. We love going to the farmer's market on Sundays as a family and choosing the ingredients together.

I could lie and say my wife cooks for me, but she doesn't. My wife has never learnt cooking but she has great cooks at home.

Usually, one's cooking is better than one thinks it is.
