Sometimes, you can't seem to find any song on the radio that you like.
I'm not really a music guy.
And obviously, when I started out, I had a little bit more curiosity than some, and went seeking out the original artists, or in some cases searching up country music.
Downloading songs is not good.
It wasn't until I wrote 'Hideaway' that I found the song I related to as an artist.
That song is a story that shows how easily you could get slipped into being labeled as the bad guy, even though what you really trying to do is tell the bad guy to leave you alone.
A lot of times, I don't feel responsible for the songs myself. But that's my job or my place in life: to keep my search and catch the ideas before they pass me by.
Music kind of kidnapped me for a while.
If you can't get your songs to people one way, you have to find another.
It doesn't take long to make catchy songs. That's not my problem.
