Diets, like clothes, should be tailored to you.

It seems every year, people make the resolution to exercise and lose weight and get in shape.

If you hunger for certain types of clothes, for which you have little use, put yourself on a diet. Just as you resist too much whipped cream and French pastry to keep your figure in shape, you can say no to those yearned-for but unneeded purchases that lead to a wardrobe that is shapeless and without form.

I followed the same diet for 20 years, eliminating starches, living on salads, lean meat, and small portions.

Of course, I remember when everybody was thin. It wasn't until I went to America in the Sixties that I saw anyone who wasn't skinny thin.

I was member of the Diet as long as it existed, until May 1933.

We only got clothing once a year, like, right before school began. It's like, that's when you got your clothing.

I eat healthy and don't even get on a scale. I have my favorite jeans that I wear, and if they are getting too snug, I watch what I eat for a week.
