Videogames are indeed design: They're sophisticated virtual machines that echo the mechanical systems inside cars.

Turns out, what I love doing is making games. Not hyping games or trying to sell a lot of copies. I just want to experiment and develop and think and tinker and tweak.

I could never understand how to build a computer, but the best I could hope for is to understand the people that do.

Before I became a game designer, I was a software engineer.

I think I can make an entirely new game experience, and if I can't do it, some other game designer will.
