I've never really been anywhere, and now I get to go everywhere. I just have to make sure there's enough memory on my computer to hold all my pictures.

We travel a lot and don't get enough time to spend with our family, and so we have to take our pictures, videos, also bother about things like which are the HD quality phones. So I'm very much a part of these typical things.
During the downtime on tour, I simply walk from room to room, staring into my computer.
I don't go anywhere without my iPod, laptop and at least one book.
But I've become completely obsessed with taking photos on my iPhone. I have like 400 apps.
I work on my novels wherever I have a PC, and I have four or five places around the world where I do have a PC. These days you can just slip a little flash drive into your top pocket, fly for 12 hours, come to another place, plug it into a computer and you are away again.
I get to go to all these beautiful places, so it's nice being able to take pictures of it.
Remember when vacation photos meant toting along a bulky camera?
I suddenly had to chase after my pictures... Pictures are like taxis during rush hour - if you're not fast enough, someone else will get there first.
I've got a computer, but I won't go near it.
I'm always taking pictures and travelling with a camera and have so many photos that I've done a book.
