Let's not call physical comedy falling down and pratfalls. All humor is physical, no matter how you dish it out. It's timing, like a dancer or an athlete would have.

Comedy is surprises, so if you're intending to make somebody laugh and they don't laugh, that's funny.

Professional comedians, surprisingly, have a lack of humor. They're insensitive to the insanity of our times.

I've had a very laughable career and what has seen me through is my sense of humor.
