While it's really hard to do, at the same time, I'm escaping my body, which I really want to do. I'm living someone else's life. I get very intensely into the story, into the interviews and the research. I'm experiencing things along with my subjects. I have a freedom I don't have in my physical life.

If I'm with someone for too long, I begin feeling trapped.

There's no way my body can be fixed, but what we can hope to do is keep all the deteriorative processes as minimal as possible.

Give yourself entirely to God, enter and hide in the hidden ground of your soul.

Charge forward with hope and get the best medical advice you can. Talk to your friends, neighbors, family, and together you attack it. We can't always control what happens to us, but we can always control how we react to it.
