I love games. I honestly can't imagine working with any other medium. I guess it would be akin to an artist who's doing commercial art and then goes into education, but it really frees you up to do all other kinds of creative stuff.

There is a definite argument to be made that videogames are becoming an art form put together by artists of different types.

Games can be art, and they can be significant and all the glorified things that we want them to be. But if you ask a kid if their toys are important, they'll say 'yes,' and 'Please don't take them away.'

Personally I find there is just as much if not more creativity among game makers as there is among feature filmmakers.

In the past, a lot of films based on video games think that the audience wants to experience what it's like to play the game, and that's absolutely not the case.
